I could also write a short history of the place - like, how it was always a great military area, right back in the 18-hundreds. I could also add how Westerplatte came into Poland's hands in 1925 under the League's agreements. It would serve as a nice intro to Poland's fortifications before we start the actual battle.

Since information’s about the place are relevant for the subject too.
