Relax, sit back and watch the world slowly die.
This is what happens if I play Pandemic 2... and win.

How the idea bloomed: I was in my other forum's chatbox and the China&Russia roleplayer and I were playing Pandemic 2. China compared the game to the Hetalia fandom and BOOM! The idea was born!

Click HERE to play the game. It's fun!

About the RP: Basically, there is a virus, bacteria, or parasite that is quickly beginning to spread across the world. The population a.k.a. countries that are in contact with other countries and/or infected insects, rodents, get sick and in the end die, unless a miraculous vaccine is invented before the entire population gets wiped out.

Why is it interactive?
Well, my dear Watson, YOU will take the role of the virus/bacteria/parasite.
Let me clarify that:
As the roleplay goes on, you'll decide if:
- it is a virus/bacteria/parasite
- will add and/or remove symptoms, resistances, transitions, traits that will affect EVERYONE [yes, every country that partakes in the RP] (Click here to see them)
- the country you're roleplaying as closes its airports, schools, borders, etc.
- decide whether you find the vaccine and if it is effective or not
- your country dies or survive
- the number of ill, healthy, deceased population

P.S: Audiomachine is perfect for the roleplay. Just sayin'.

STARTING POINT: BELGIUM
9:23 AM, January 23rd 2013

It was an average day within the Western European country; aside from the cloudy January sky and winter temperature, everything seemed to be in place... on the outside, at least.
Pale faces, red noses and the dark circles around the eyes due to a sleepless night or the unmerciful cold that had been usually happening during that time of the year, didn't represent any serious threat to the population. Why would it?

The soft noise as his gloved finger beat the small recipient caused the blood inside it to shake before setting down the sample to examine it. It was a typical day at the hospital; the patients waited their turn whilst the doctors and nurses carried on their everyday job.

Usually, the tests ran smoothly, however the doctor observed something very strange.
His scowl formed a dent. This is not right..., he mumbled and ran the test again.

Something was definitely not right... There was something strange with that sample as if it was infected with something he couldn't put his finger on.
The man whose blood sample belonged to was a middle-aged man with a low immune system.

Could it be cancer? Leukaemia?

He ran the tests again, but used a different sample, and the result were surprisingly the same. His discoveries were alarming, and after several tests ran by several doctors, the hospitals finally came to a conclusion:

They were dealing with something new.
