Hmmm. Personally I'd go with North Korea, but you can do Mexico. :O Any ideas for what District he hails from???

I believe that as of now we have like five people fighting as Tributes? In which case, I think we can get started! (Anybody else who wants to join can jump in anytime.)

Do you want to start during the training sessions, or the interviews or what? Seeing as reapings involve little to no interaction with other characters, I thought we could skip that?

I'd say at the point right before they go out in their chariots.
That way we can get a basis for something and then there's still a chance for character interactions

Belarus (Natalia Arvoskaya) - District 2 Tribute - Aged 16

Natalia surveyed the writhing, cheering crowd with a cool gaze. This business with the chariots, those interviews they'd have to do later; it was all pointless to her. It helps you gain sponsors, her mentor had said; but Natalia knew that if she seriously needed to charm Capitol residents into giving her aid, she wouldn't forgive herself. If she was going to win these games (and there was a respectable chance that she would), she was going to win them entirely of her own volition.

She picks at her outfit impatiently, waiting for the tributes to be called out. The lolita-esque dress she was wearing wasn't too bad, but that golden headpiece that her chirp-voiced idiot of a stylist had affixed her and her district partner with was astoundingly ridiculous, and she would give anything to just have a simple bow in her hair.

And more preferably, she thinks as she surveys the other tributes, a knife in my hand.

Natalia turns to her district partner; some drunkenly cocky moron that went by Gilbert (she hadn't quite bothered to learn his full name as of yet), and says, "Are you ready?"

Seychelles (Angelique Bordeaux?) - District 4 Tribute - Aged 14

She could her her own heartbeat. Like a frantic rhythm of tossing waves, she could hear her own heartbeat pounding.

Angelique wasn't one for crowds. She'd managed to keep a straight face at her Reaping only by digging her nails into her tanned palms until she'd embedded bleeding crescents in the skin.

Why hadn't anyone volunteered in my place?, she wondered for what was probably the hundredth time since she'd been Reaped. District 4 is supposed to be a Career district. Why didn't anybody volunteer?

She'd been mortified, struck speechless with despair when she'd made her way up the stage, only for no one to speak up, no one to raise their hands and scream "I volunteer as tribute!".

So they could go and die on national television, and she wouldn't have to.

Closing her eyes and trying to compose herself, Angelique wrings her hands in the rich fabric of her dress and looks towards her district partner. Arthur Kirkland. The boy who had volunteered for who she assumed to be his younger brother, who had roughly shoved others out of the way as he shouted, "I volunteer!" at the baffled escort. If she wasn't so concerned with the numbing thought of her own inevitable death, she'd have been gaping at the thick-browed young man in admiration.

He was with her now, standing next to the chariot. He looked uncomfortable in the outfit their stylist Francis had practically had to wrestle him into, but he had a sort of tight-lipped determination about him that Angelique wished she could summon.

Y'know, I'm thinking Mexico ought to be District 11. And if you'd like I can have a second character to add a bit more fullness to the cast.
