Ola! I'm back now!
Did you guys miss me?
I had an awesome time! Read 4 books, filled 1 and a half sketchbook, been to Barcelona, museums, went kajaking, snorkling, to cute restaurants and markets, I even danced the sardaña!

It's the national dance of Catalunya, the part of Sain where I was. It's almost a country on it's own...like Frysia in the Netherlands!
It's a circle dance really engraved in the culture there, especially in small villages Everyone knows it! I danced it in l'escala the town where I was staying, it's one of their national symbols and young and old all know how to dance it! It's lovely to see, the wholle town is out on the square, the old people just shuffle the dance, while the young people really jump.
The circles are open to everyone and it's a symbol of their strong feeling of comunity.
Being a dancer I quickly figured out the system and felt confident enough to join. First with the older people because they didn't go that fast, later when I got the hang of it with the youths.
A lady started talking to me in Spanish and I answered that I didn't speak Spanish, she asked if I was English and I just nodded because dancing and talking at the same time is kinda hard XD and she looked at me smiled and said No. You are Catalunyan.
Seriously biggest compliment I ever had in my life.
Rp chara's:

Wow! it seems you really had a lot of fun :D. I'm happy you did - I told you SPain's great! And it's addictive. I can never have enough of Alicante and Terravieja, and of course Orihuela.

It was indeed great, i felt so at ease and at home!
Spain is in comparision to other countries I visited really comfortable. In Italy you have to make an effort for everything.
I mean, there was a huge forest fire and the fire department didn't answer their phone because they were sleeping ( Don't get me wrong I love Italy, it's just really unorganised )
In France you'll always have the feeling, well, I do. That there's some huge gap between you and the locals and whie I am almost fluent in French, and don't speak a word of Spanish
Spain is more open...
