As much as I wanted to keep on kissing him, the need for oxygen was too great. I pulled away from him and breathed deeply. Somehow, and for some unknown reason, it felt so right to be with him...

I was searching for an answer to one question in his eyes - "why"? Why did I want to be with him? What was that chain that was keeping me near him?

I let him go and sat at the table, placing my head into my hands. A lot of thinking was waiting for me.

I watched her face turning to a more troubled expression. She sat down at the table.

Lina didn't look happy, but she didn't look entirely sad as well. It was... strange. Still, I wanted nothing more than to keep the smile on her face.

"Lina... what's wrong? Did I do something?" I offered, taking a seat opposite from her.
