Astera's fingers flexed around the drumsticks as she awaited the beginning of the song. Until today she hadn't even been aware that Iceland did in fact exist. Now she was determined to defeat him in this contest at all costs. Just why that was truly was a mystery to Persia, but it was the case. Who cared if electricity hadn't existed in her heyday? She would've invented it eventually!

Feeling cocky, Persia set her own difficulty to 'hard' deliberately because Emil had chosen medium. She'd sure show him a thing or two! Like how to miss the first five beats in a row while you're glaring at an opponent. Realizing her mishap Persia wheeled into action and started to hammer out the beat awkwardly at first. Soon she was doing decently enough, driven by her determination to emerge victorious. If she didn't get carpal tunnal first.

Emil frowned as Persia selected 'hard.' She was obviously getting cocky with him. Emil was going to make sure that they'd be even, so he quickly changed his difficulty to the same setting once he had a chance to. He was then immediately attacked by all of the colors of notes after the 'getting ready' period of time that the game had given him, including the arse color orange that he had to slide his hand down to reach. Somehow though, Iceland was able to sync quite a lot of colors- maybe he knew the song that well?

After the first verse, Emil had to stretch to crack his back, which kept hurting him due to leaning forward to play. This always happened to him in this game, so it wasn't anything new. He had also used this time to glance over to his opponent, who was doing incredibly well for her first time playing- but how? This, would be something he would never know. All Emil knew was that he had a hell-a lot of competition.
I roleplay as America, Austria, England, Iceland, Norway and Prussia. Also other characters depending on my mood.
