"You're free for the evening. Do whatever you like." It may have sounded harsh, but I really didn't mean it that way. I just didn't know what else to say. I didn't like admitting it... but I felt awkward.

Ivan's hars tone hurt me deeply. I bowed and walked out of the room back upstairs into his bedroom. I felt like letting all my emotions out, so I opened my bag and took out a few sheets of paper and some pencils. Setting everything near the window, I strated drawing. And I felt my heart becoming lighter and lighter with every stroke my pencils made.

An hour and a half passed. I hadn't heard Lina walk around or anything yet. Perhaps she went to bed? I decided to check on that.

I walked up to my bedroom as silent as I could, stopping in the doorway to peak inside.

She was drawing? That was surprising.

I didn't want to disturb her, so I turned around to leave, hoping she didn't notice me.

As I was putting some finishing strokes, I felt a presence behind me. Turning around, I saw a door move slightly as it was completely shut. I figured out it was Ivan, and went to the door.

"Ivan, did you want anything?" I asked him after opening the door.

I tensed when I heard her voice, not counting on her actually finding me.

"Njet. I did not." I said to her, trying my best smile. "Just checked if you were asleep yet. I will go downstairs and sleep some then. Don't stay up late, you need your rest." I nodded to her and lightly petted her head before walking back to my couch/bed.

I watched Ivan go down into the living room. I didn't want to sleep alone tonight, nor did I want him to be alone anymore too. Without further thinking, I went after him.

I was turning off the tv and preparing my bed, when I noticed Lina coming in the living room. I frowned.

"If you want some water you can get it, you don't have to ask." I didn't know what else she could ask.

Luckily, I had gotten in my sleeping outfit when Lina was asleep upstairs. I crawled on the couch and pulled the blanket over me.

I blinked surprised at her words, trying to put them in the right order.
Had she really just purposed...?

"Eeeh... sure." I was still kind of shocked.

"We will take the bed then." I said and led her back upstairs. I watched her a little awkwardly before climbing onto the bed on the made up side, waiting for her to join.

Ivan led us back to his bedroom. Right after he climbed onto the bed, I followed him. I put a blanket over the both uf us and snuggled next to him. It was nice to have someone next to me after suach a long time.
