I looked at her, not noticing the softness which must show in my eyes. She looked so at peace.

Softly, I stroked her face a bit, I just couldn't help it.

"Good night, Lina" I whispered to her and withdrew my hand.

"Good night, Ivan." I smiled softly and, before I even knew it, I had kissed his nose softly. Blushing, I turned my back to him and tried to fall asleep.

I chuckled when Lina turned away, pressing a kiss to the back of her head. I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep, fighting the urge to pull her into me and hold her.

Falling asleep hadn't been easy, but when I did, I wish I had stayed awake the whole night. Once again the nightmares haunted me. Though this time they were'nt about Him. They were about Ivan.

He was strange. He had this bloody pipe, the one he had been so lovingly cleaning. Around me were the bodies of everyone I've ever helped. And Ivan... he was saying that he'd done that because he loved me. It was terrifying.

I woke up screaming and all sweaty. My face was swollen from tears, and my eyes were red. I didn't know what to do.

I woke up to a loud scream and rubbed my eyes.

"Lina..?" My voice sounded hoarse from the sleeping. I looked at her again and saw that she was sweating, panting and... crying.

"Lina? What's wrong? What happened?"

"No! Don't some near me!" I hurriedly got out of bed. I didn't know what I was doing, but that didn't matter.

Very slowly my mind came to me, and I understood what I have done.

"Oh, sorry, Ivan... I just had a nightmare. You had killed a lot of people with that pipe of yours. I'm sorry for acting like that. I was scraed." I hugged him tightly.

"Please, forgive me..." I hugged him as strong as I could.

"Killed people?" Hmm... maybe I shouldn't tell her about that then. I'm sure though that I never killed someone she was close to.

"I'm sure that you would never kill anyone." I said while looking to his eyes and smiling.

"Now, what shall we do? Sleep? Or stay awake?" Slowly, my fear was going away.
